On Thursday, December 3rd, at approximately 15:26 hours, a single vehicle collision brought down a telephone pole, power lines, and three transformers near the corner of East Molloy Road and Thompson Road. During dispatch, fire control advised that they have received many 911 calls regarding this collision. East Syracuse firefighters arrived to find a single vehicle collision with the patient still inside the vehicle. National Grid electric arrived 15 minutes later and cut the power to the pole and wires involved. The patient was removed from the vehicle and turned over to EAVES Ambulance personnel to be transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.
